Every year, Sir Thomas Wharton Academy celebrates the last day of term in style with a free Christmas lunch for all staff and students, alongside a range of other House System and Tutor time festivities. All students and staff sit down together to share in the Christmas spirit, including the Christmas lunch, snow machines, crackers, conversation, music and feeding the reindeer. At Sir Thomas Wharton Academy, we believe these types of experiences are vital in terms of building true culture, community and character. Experiences like these create positive school memories which last a lifetime.

The Christmas dinner also gives us a real opportunity to develop oracy and conversation skills with people around the dining table.
